Dyno Tune
For safe horsepower and torque. This is where power and torque is measured and the tuner is pulling out max safe increases in torque which is the ability to do work and horsepower is how fast it gets the work done. If you have increase airflow via upgraded camshaft, headers or bigger intake, a dyno tune is highly recommended to keep from going lean and risk damaging your engine.
Street
To calibrate for mechanical changes to the engine, logging of engine parameters on the road is the best way to achieve best mpg and good horsepower and torque gains. This can also be done with stock unmodified engines.
